Xmas 2005 seems miles away.
Hope everybody had a good one and thanks for all the praising of our
produce; it is great to know that it is all so appreciated.
Already reserved our turkey chicks for Xmas 2006, can you believe it?
They are due here at the end of June and it is very scary to think of
it all again so soon.
Lots of tidying and sorting jobs to do before we start to ride the
wave of births and germinations that will inevitably arrive in the spring!
Went and collected some new chickens last week and bedded them up
in a nice little corner of the field in their new house. Have to get
busy and build a new MK 5 “chickenvan” so that we can try to stay up
with all your requests for more of our gorgeous eggs. I look forward
to the day when we can stop apologising to disappointed customers that
have just missed the last egg of the day!
Lots of vegetable seed discussion going on as well; yet again we have
misjudged it and run out of carrots and potatoes….this year it will
be different I hope?
Ordered miles of plastic fleece in a fresh attempt to protect our
lovely veg from all the local wildlife…watch this space? We plan on
really going for it this year veg wise, concentrating on all those favourites
from last season as well as some experiments and requests suggested
by our customers. Fingers crossed as usual.
